Orlando Kannada Sangha (OKS) hosted a meet and greet with Ms. B.V. Radha and Mr. KSL Swamy on May 30th, 2014. During this event, KSL Swamy briefly talked about today’s Kannada film industry. He also addressed the audience’s request and sang ಸೂರ್ಯಂಗೂ ಚಂದ್ರಂಗೂ (sooryangu chandrangu) from the famous movie ಶುಭ ಮಂಗಳ (shubha mangala), which was originally sung by him in that movie.

This event was also combined with the end of the first semester of ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿ (Kannada Kali) classes. On this day, OKS and the Kannada Kali team recognized all the participating students and awarded certificates. Certificates were distributed by Ms. B.V. Radha.

The event took place in the Hindu Temple auditorium and was sponsored by Mr. Gopal Iyengar.
