Please join us for our Orlando Kannada Sangha Annual Picnic @Central Winds Park, Pavillion B, 1000 E State Road 434 Winter Springs FL 32708, [Map] on March 31st, 2018  A great time to enjoy the outdoors, meet up and have some fun over food and games! Please RSVP to Evite.

Menu for the Picnic Potluck lunch includes Idli, Sambhar, Puliyogare, Rice/ Rasam & Dessert. Please choose to sign up for an item(s) from the list published in “What to Bring” area in the Evite. If you would like to bring a food item to the picnic, and if all items are taken, please contact the board, and we will let you know what to bring. We will greatly appreciate if everyone can stick with the items listed.

Kids (3-7 years)

  1. Egg hunt ( Please bring a basket)
  2. Egg and spoon

Kids (8-12 years)

  1. Balloon Waddle Race.
  2. Tug of war ( groups)

Teenagers

  1. Lemon and spoon
  2. Balance Book on Head

If you are not able to bring anything, we will gladly accept monetary contribution ($10/pp or $20/family) towards picnic expenses.

The event is free for members. $25 per family for non-members. Please pay Annual Membership for 2018 at the event ($40 Family, $25 individual) or you can pay it online.

Wish You A Very Happy New Year 2018

Kannada Rajyotsava November 18 -2017

Kannada Rajyotsava is our annual end of the year event celebrating the formation of Karnataka state as well as providing an opportunity for our Sangha members to come together and showcase their talent and creativity. Our goal is to ensure maximum participation and promote our next generation to learn, communicate and entertain in Kannada.  Please join us for a beautiful evening of cultural programs, food and social time. Snacks and Tea will be served from 4:30 – 5:30 pm only. Sumptuous Dinner will be served at the end of program, 7:30 PM.

Tickets are available online. Purchase your tickets before Nov. 15th and save. Tickets at the gate or after 15th of Nov will be higher.

Cultural Program Entries: Cutoff date for sending registrations is November 8, 2017. Please send your entries to CulturalCommittee@OrlandoKannadaSangha.org

Youth Conference August 5th -2017

Please join us for our Orlando Kannada Sangha Annual Youth Conference @ Hindu University Of America on August 5, 2017, starting from 9 AM to 4 PM.

We are planning to have different sessions for kids from 3rd grade to 12th grade. Please RSVP and let us know a number of kids attending by Friday, July 21, 2017.

Fees: Free for OKS member children. $20 for non-members.
