OKS hosted a Kannada Kali kickoff event with Mukhyamantri Chandru in the Hindu Temple Hall on September 21, 2013.

OKS screened two Kannada Short Stories (Chitragyaana, Jeevana Satya) in the Hindu Temple Hall on July 28, 2013.

OKS hosted its year 2013 Picnic and Cricket Tournament in the Central Winds Park. Though the final games were rained out, to use a cliche, cricket was (and all Orlando kannadigas who participated were) the ultimate winner.
