Welcome to the OKS 2020 Art competition for the Children’s category! Put your best talents to the test. The theme is Coron”ART”. We want to see what this topic inspires in you, whether it’s thoughts about Quarantine, how Coronavirus has affected you, or wherever else your creative mind takes you.

If you are not a member, the entry fee is $10.
The deadline to submit your Art is July 31st at 11:59 pm. Register by clicking on the appropriate age category :
Children under 8 years
Juniors – 9 to 15 years
Adults – 16 years and above
Art categories:
- Paint (watercolor, tempera, poster, acrylic, etc.)
- Drawing materials (pencil, charcoal, colored chalk, pastels, oil pastels, colored pencils, markers, etc.)
- Collage materials (cut and glued papers, such as construction paper, tissue paper, wrapping paper, aluminum foil, etc.)
- Prints (handmade stencils, gadget printing, collographs, block prints, etc.)
- Sculpting materials (clay, papier-mâché, etc.)
- Original digital illustration
- Photography
- Dance (max 2 minutes)
- Song (max 2 minutes)
If your submission is not in a category not listed above, please reach out to the board to ensure that your idea fits the criteria (we will most likely accept it)
Please make sure you sign up in the correct age category so that we do not judge your artwork in the wrong category and you get the credit you deserve. Each category will have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The judging criteria will be based on creativity, interpretation of the theme, originality, and skill. Only one entry will be permitted for each person so make sure you display your best talent. The awards will be announced after careful deliberation by our judges
If your submission is a drawing or painting, please either scan the art or take a clean photo of it and upload it to the form. For sculpture or other physical medium submissions, please use adequate lighting in the photos of your artwork and include photos from several angles. For any dance or song submission, please also use adequate lighting and make sure to have a steady camera throughout the video.
